A welded steel side panel assembly that closes the non-drive end of a PTO-driven implement housing, protecting internal components from side impacts and retaining the outboard shaft bearing. The integrated bearing boss must remain concentric with the drive-side bearing bore to maintain proper shaft alignment — inspect the bearing bore area carefully if the implement has sustained a side impact, as even minor distortion can cause bearing noise and premature shaft wear without any obviously visible damage.
