A rotary shaft oil seal that creates a leak-free barrier where the working shaft of a PTO-driven implement exits the housing bore, keeping lubrication inside and abrasive field debris outside the bearing cavity. The sealing lip bears directly against the rotating shaft surface — inspect the shaft journal for scoring before installing a new seal, as even light surface damage will destroy a replacement seal in short order. Replace at any sign of oil seepage around the shaft exit point.
