A precision-cut steel retainer plate that constrains shaft bearings, sprockets, or other drive components within the housing of a 48-inch PTO-driven implement, preventing axial displacement under the oscillating loads of field operation. This plate's dimensions and bolt pattern are specific to the 48-inch configuration — components from 60-inch or 72-inch variants are not interchangeable. Replace when retention slots are elongated, mounting holes are wallowed, or the plate has been bent in a way that allows component movement.
