A precision-cut steel plate that closes the drive end of a PTO-driven implement housing, retaining the shaft bearing, sprockets, and drive components while sealing the lubricated interior from contamination. Cut to close tolerances to ensure proper component alignment and a flush seal surface. Replace when the plate is warped, the oil seal bore shows wear, or the mounting bosses are cracked — any of these conditions will lead to lubricant loss and accelerated bearing failure on the drive side.
