A welded steel mount assembly that holds the rubber deflector at its correct operating height and angle behind the working assembly of a 48-inch PTO-driven implement. The mount's geometry determines deflector angle and tension — if the mount is bent by a ground-contact impact, the rubber deflector will be incorrectly positioned regardless of its own condition, affecting material control and finished surface quality. Replace when the mount shows bending, cracked welds, or deformation at the deflector rubber attachment points.
